Back at clinic in June we discussed another surgery on her foot in the fall. Well, here we are. We met with doc today to confirm. Looks like it will be a 2.5-3hr surgery, splitting a long tendon on one side and transferring it to new places. He still isn’t sure if he will need to do any ‘bony surgery’. He doesn’t *think* he will, he says today, but he’s not certain. So that’s positive, at least. It’s not definite, no, but it’s a positive. After seeing how much her foot had turned back in, I was afraid we’d be guaranteed bone work this time. But he thinks there’s still a chance we won’t. So…yay!
She will go for three weeks of casting starting in November. Then surgery will be at the end of the month.
